Litwiller Developments Ltd. is a Calgary renovation contractor with roots in the business of developing inner-city infills. Today the company focuses primarily on renovations, where David Litwiller’s 33 years of experience is put to the best use. The company was created in 1977 as Litwiller Construction, when a 22-year old journeyman carpenter named David Litwiller signed a contract to work as screen door and ceramic tile installer for what was then known as Simpsons Sears and began a general construction and renovation business. He quickly acquired a reputation as a skilled, imaginative carpenter and worked steadily in home renovations and commercial tenant improvements.
Our people
Litwiller is also one of the few renovation companies to employ a permanent carpentry staff, rather than hire people on a job-to-job basis. We've learned years ago that a renovation job has to be managed from the site, not from the office. The only way we can offer good project management, all day, every day, is by making sure there is continuity of staff from start to finish.”
